Welcoming Cross Fields from Japan

“Meeting the children reminded us that lasting change begins by understanding the realities communities face every day.”

In June, we were delighted to host a delegation from Cross Fields, Japan, as part of their week-long Field Study Programme for Japanese corporate professionals leading sustainability initiatives. The visit began at Indian Glory School in Malwani, where participants experienced one of our breakfast programmes firsthand and joined an engaging discussion with the TBR team on the challenges of childhood hunger, nutrition and education in urban communities.

Walking through the Malwani community gave participants a deeper understanding of the realities many families face, from food insecurity to barriers in education. Meeting the children and witnessing the impact of a simple, nutritious breakfast left a lasting impression, inspiring thoughtful conversations about the role each of us can play in creating meaningful social change. We are grateful to Cross Fields for choosing to learn alongside us, and for their generous feedback recognising The Breakfast Revolution as a valued partner in building a healthier and more equitable future for every child.
