United Way Mumbai, has been working with us to serve vulnerable children in Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. From January till April, 1,570 under nourished children in 18 villages across Karjat, 876 children in Malad, and 612 children in Kurnool are receiving a healthy breakfast every morning.
We have also renewed our work with People to People Health Foundation (PPHF), where from February to May 5,258 beneficiaries across 4 villages will receive breakfast packs under PPHF’s ‘PRANNA’ program. The program aims to screen children and adults for issues like heart disease, fatty liver, overweight etc to help guide them towards better lifestyle choices, and to include millets in their diet.
In Dadra Nagar Haveli, Animedh Charitable Trust (ACT) works to reduce malnutrition amongst vulnerable tribal communities. TBR is working with ACT to serve a special fortified porridge for 325 families between January and August 2025.

TBR also worked with Poddar and Karunya Trust to build a trial cooked-lunch program, which will work in addition to our breakfast program for vulnerable children in the slums of Deonar, Mumbai. The aim of this extra initiative is to provide the children with increased nutrition support, as parents struggle to earn daily wages.
