In March Share Our Strength organised a fundraising dinner for two of their India partners – Annamitra and TBR with the intention to connect food, children and cherished memories for supporters of both organisations.
Padmashri awardee Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, and eminent restauranteurs Gauri Devidayal (The Table) and Aditi Dugar (Masque) co-chaired the event, while Cyrus Broacha and Kunal Vijaykar regaled guests! For one night only, Michelin-starred Chef Chintan Pandya, Chef Varun Totlani (Masque), Chef Mythraie Arunkumar (S. Pelligrino Young Chef winner), Chef Hussain Shahzad (The Bombay Canteen), and Chef Vinesh Johny (Lavonne Academy) came together to create a unique multi-course menu for diners to enjoy. Patrons shared items for auction as well, including paintings, interior décor items, and boutique hotel stays. The program was a success, with Share Our Strength matching all donations received. Both organisations will be able to support a combined 7,000 students in the 2025-26 school year!
